Dr. Vanderver's Group is Moving to Philly!
Dr. Adeline Vanderver and the Myelin Disorders Program are excited to announce that their much-anticipated move from Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C. to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is nearing completion.
After many months of planning, her group is preparing for the final stage of the move to CHOP: A truckload of equipment is expected to arrive at the new Philadelphia lab on October 12, 2016. Dr. Vanderver expects to resume full operation of her research activities by the end of the month. She will begin seeing patients at CHOP's Leukodystrophy Center of Excellence (LCE) later this fall.
Please Note: If you or a family member have participated in the Myelin Disorders Bioregistry Project (MDBP) at Children's National, we kindly ask you to download the attached letter and complete the last page if you agree to having your child's medical records and/or samples transitioned to the new lab at CHOP. Once completed, you may scan and send the letter to the team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank you for your help as we continue to work to understand leukodystrophies and find causes and treatments for these disorders.
